The Moriarty
The Moriarty is a family of cousins. They come from a respected family in Great Britain, and their grandparents own a manor in Oxfordshire, where they grew up together since they learned how to pick up their feet. They practically were born with silver spoons in their mouth, but there’s a price they have to pay; in a form of lack of affection by their parents, and living a life full of rules set by their grandparents. “You are all noblemen and noblewomen, and one day you will thank me for being this strict towards all of you. Now straighten your posture,” their grandparents would say. Birds in a golden cage, that’s what they are. They lean on each other more than anything, that’s why their bonds are ten times stronger than just “cousins”.
Sansa and Alexandra are more of twin sisters than siblings because they share countless similarities despite their age difference; from taste in pop culture reference, the way they laugh, even their taste in men is similar. Alaska and Silas are more of frenemies than siblings, they bicker and throw witty remarks at each other on daily basis. The prediction has said that if they lived for another 1000 years, they could ignite World War X. Thankfully, their obsession towards one of the prestigious comic book companies is beyond compare, and that is the only thing that makes them stop breaking each other's neck. Cassandra, Lucius, and Reine fall naturally in the description of normal siblings, where they act according to their role; Cassandra as the mature older sister, Lucius as the leave-me-alone middle child, and Reine as the give-me-attention youngest one.
Most of them are in their early 20s now, and they start learning how to rise their tongue against their conservative grandparents. Not taking an extreme length, just simply by living separately in the heart of London to pursue higher education, or studying aboard, or trying to find their idea of a comfortable life, where they are in control of what they want.
